Employees also had to bring their own toilet paper for a period with no one cleaning the bathrooms.

according to a report by The New York Times.

With no janitors cleaning and restocking bathrooms, employees have also had to bring their own toilet paper. Cost cutting has been tasked to Steve Davis, the leader of Elon Musk's tunneling venture, the Boring Company, and Jared Birchall, the head of Musk's family office. One of Musk's top managers, Omead Afshar, has also stepped in to help run Twitter. Afshar previously oversaw construction of Tesla's Austin factory and is currently a vice president at SpaceX.
