The new brand name for the credit union reflects the fact that it serves customers around the globe. phoenix

Global Credit Union is actually the fifth name in the organization’s history, also reflecting that Alaska USA members live in all 50 states and in more than 20 foreign countries. Additionally, the new name also connects to an update to the credit union’s charter that allows anyone working in the U.S. Department of Defense worldwide to become a member.

“We are excited to welcome this new chapter and we look forward to reinforcing our commitment to our current members and embracing prospective members as we transition to the new name," Lundfelt said in a statement.Noël Gabler was promoted to vice president, corporate relations. Alaska USA now operates 76 branches in Alaska, Arizona, California, Idaho, Washington, and Italy with more than 2,200 employees and more than 750,000 members worldwide. It has 98,000 members in Arizona.acquire all seven branches
