A jetty at Seaford in East Sussex, beneath which raw sewage was reported to have been discharged after heavy rain in August Government plans to set a deadline of 2050 to put an end to sewage being dumped in open waters in England and Wales are set to be challenged in the High Court.water companies in England and Wales that dump sewage have

been granted a judicial review hearing, which activists say brings them “one step closer” to ending sewage dumping into Britain’s seas. A plan to stop sewage discharges was announced by ministers last August, but it was heavily criticised by campaigners for setting a deadline of 2050 to end overflows.

CapurrodDaniel Blaming water companies, too easy theresecoffey . It would be remiss of you to think that damaging our ecology, allowing sewage, chemicals in rivers, plastic into water table could not bring Tories down. This is dereliction of duty, sentiment is high.
