The market will run Thursdays from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. until Sept. 14 and showcase local and regional artisans and food vendors.

The market was hugely popular pre-pandemic, and became a casualty to pandemic precautions in recent years, moving off of Beacon Avenue. Sidney council prioritized bringing it back because it benefits the town culturally, socially and economically, said Mayor Cliff McNeill-Smith.

“It will be a great joy to see the community and visitors of all ages once again experiencing magical summer night markets on Thursdays in our wonderful downtown,” McNeill-Smith said in a [email protected]
