‘Let’s revive industry together’

Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing said they must be open during dialogues and brainstorming sessions to tackle the challenges in promoting tourism and creating breakthroughs.

“Claims that there were more direct flights between China and both Singapore and Thailand compared with between China and Malaysia were less than accurate as AirAsia alone had resumed direct flights to and from cities in China, while I have personally taken chartered flights from cities there recently,” he said.

Instead, he said both sides must work together to resolve weaknesses in the tourism sector and improve policy making.
