Vigliucci’s reduction prints are limited editions as they can never be printed again. As they are hand- printed, no two can be exactly the same, she explains. Therefore, each of her lino prints are signed and numbered according to the edition. The relaxing qualities of burning can be a welcome change in the studio from the challenges of printmaking. However, mastering the techniques can take quite a bit of practice and experimentation, she says.
“For me, art and my creativity are just about being in the moment and not knowing what the end result will look like,” she says.
