Powered by strong returns for shares of Honeywell and Microsoft, the Dow Jones Industrial Average is climbing Wednesday morning. The Dow DJIA is trading 88 points higher , as shares of Honeywell HON and Microsoft MSFT are contributing to the index's intraday rally.
Honeywell's shares are up $3.57 while those of Microsoft have risen $3.02 , combining for an approximately 43-point bump for the Dow. Also contributing significantly to the gain are Goldman Sachs GS, American Express AXP, and UnitedHealth UNH. A $1 move in any of the Dow's 30 components equates to a 6.59-point swing.
