A recent survey done by the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce has found that 75 per cent of Charlottetown-area entrepreneurs are concerned about the increasing cost of doing business. FileSaltWire's Atlantic regional weather forecast for September 13, 2023 | SaltWireCHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Three-quarters of Charlottetown-area entrepreneurs are concerned about the increasing cost of doing business, a recent survey by the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce has found.

The online survey, conducted over June and July, was sent to all chamber members, primarily small-business owners. These businesses span a variety of sectors — from retail and food and beverage to manufacturing and professional services — and are mostly located in Charlottetown.
