Enmax to retain ownership of Maine-based power company after millions spent in state election

WATCH ABOVE: Calgary's mayor and city councillors say Enmax is trying to protect its investment as one of its subsidiaries is caught up in a referendum in the United States. Adam MacVicar reports. – Jul 25, 2023will continue its ownership of a Maine-based power company following an election campaign that saw millions of dollars sent south of the border.

The non-profit, called Maine Energy Progress, was founded by Enmax and Versant Power, according to the Maine Ethics Commissioner.
