Utah ranks third in nation for most unaffordable housing market behind Hawaii, California Home sweet home is more within reach in every other state than Utah, except two—Hawaii and California.
“It is not good for our state,” said Dawn Stevens, president of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors, “absolutely not good.”Stevens, a real estate broker with 20 years of sales experience, said high housing prices and interest rates have impacted her own family.
