One of the nation's largest producers of supermarket pizzas has been fined £800,000 after part of a worker's middle finger was severed. And in a seperate incident at the Stateside Foods factory in Bolton, another worker needed a skin graft after his arm was drawn into an 'inadequately guarded' conveyor belt.

The HSE said Mr Holloway returned to work after a six-month absence, but left after a couple of days.
