“It had a huge impact on our family. I was working part-time until January and I honestly didn’t have any plans on coming back full-time, mainly because the cost of childcare just didn’t make it worthwhile,” said Ms Riley, an executive administrator.Advertisement “I hope we’re the spark that sort of lights the fuse for the rest of the Australian workforce to follow us,” he said. “My dream would be that many workforces seek to outdo what we’re offering and it puts us in a position of pressure to continue to grow and expand our offering.A total of 38 children were being subsidised under the initiative, he said.
“This is an incredible stop-gap scenario that will help their employees right now in a really significant way,” Ms Dent said.
