He defended the company’s multiple nameplates—something the agitators want to reduce—as a plus rather than a negative.
But there was little in the way of the brand-by-brand analysis that the outsiders had demanded, something the company has never done over its history.

Only ever visited the Beyond section. That could be the problem.
Maybe if their stores didn't all look and feel like a swap-meet threw up all over the inside of a warehouse.
Perhaps it's because it's bed, bath and beyond our budget?
