Two of the women behind last year's protest wrote in an internal email that they were retaliated against, Wired reports.

"My manager started ignoring me, my work was given to other people, and I was told to go on medical leave, even though I'm not sick," Stapleton said in the email."While my work has been restored, the environment remains hostile and I consider quitting nearly every day." "We prohibit retaliation in the workplace, and investigate all allegations," a Google spokesperson told Business Insider."Employees and teams are regularly and commonly given new assignments, or reorganized, to keep pace with evolving business needs. There has been no retaliation here."

SAI What were the alleged acts of harrasment? FACTS, please!

I know little about the facts of what they were protesting. But organizing a walk out at work hurts the company and you can't expect there to be no consequences for that. Sexual harassment is awful and I hope Google has gotten rid of all offenders
