UK car manufacturing fell for the tenth month in the row in March as the industry warned that output from the sector could fall to 1980s levels in the event of a no-deal Brexit.
It reported an 18.1% fall in vehicles produced for domestic use and a 13.4% downturn for overseas - the latter blamed on continued weaker demand in key Asian and European markets.
Meanwhile there’s a year waiting list for some electric vehicles. They are building the cars they want you to own, not the ones people want to buy.
Cars are OVER PRICED. So its better if the car industry returned to the so feared ‘dark days’. Too many FAT CATS
With the low emission zone, poorer people cannot afford new cars, so less cars around and an impact on jobs that supply the car industry through less purchasing of older parts

Manufacturing will continue to struggle because of tariff-free trade. While we have such a weak industry compared with other EU nations. The industry isn't getting any investment so we should be more protective.

Is it just me but I couldn't care less about the car market. We have more than enough cars. Everyone who can drive owns at least one and there's a zillion new and used still on the forecourts . Stop making more cars !!!!
