Eastern Cape MEC for Transport and Safety, Xolile Nqatha, has praised the police for their swift operation after four suspects were shot and killed by police at Tshoxa Village, in Keiskammahoek, Eastern Cape.

Police were following up on a lead of a person with an unlicensed firearm when they were confronted by a hail of bullets early on Wednesday. Police retaliated and four suspects were shot dead.
