Former Sports, Arts and Culture Minister Zizi Kodwa has welcomed the withdrawal of charges against him.
The Director of Public Prosecutions withdrew corruption charges against Kodwa and his co-accused, ex-EOH Executive, Jehan Mackay. Kodwa is accused of receiving bribes worth R1.7 million from Mackay in exchange for government tenders. The pair was charged with violating the Prevention and Combating of Corrupt Activities as well as the Prevention of Organised Crimes Acts.“Off course, I welcome it with mix feeling as you know what happened in the past.
