Lawrence Ho, the Hong Kong gambling tycoon acquiring $1.76 billion worth of Crown shares from James Packer, was a long term director of a company banned from any involvement with the Australian casino operator | ColinJKruger

that Crown had gone into business with some tour companies backed by powerful Asian crime gangs and Chinese foreign influence agents. It has triggered multiple other state and federal probes into Crown’s affairs.

The 97 year old Stanley Ho held a government-granted monopoly on the Macau gambling industry for 75 years.Melco responded to Reuters on Friday, saying that Mr Ho's father, Stanley Ho, did not hold any position in the board of the company or any of its related entities, and is not involved in the company's business operations.

ColinJKruger So...WTH?! What is the regulator going to do? Fines? Banned for 20 yrs from involvement in Australia? Seems like Crown is blatantly ignoring the regulator. THIS is big business at it's most pungent.
