NST Region: Cambodia slips in ease of doing business ranking

In the latest release of the index, Cambodia is ranked 144th out of 190 countries, a drop of six places from last year.

Top on the list is New Zealand followed by Singapore, Hong Kong, Denmark, South Korea, the United States, Georgia, the United Kingdom, Norway and Sweden. An international economic expert based in Cambodia agreed that there were many areas that Cambodia needed to reform if it wanted to go up in the ease of doing business ranking.
