The factory collapse in Bangladesh sparked international outrage, and a litany of promises by major brands to clean up their supply chains. Ten years on, MEP Barry Andrews asks what has changed?

Prada, Gucci, Moncler. Household names that we associate with the luxury of Paris or Milan.

Their products may be designed in safe, modern offices, but they are often produced in some of the worst working conditions globally; often in low-income countries, which is why it is important to remind ourselves what it really means when we see the tag: ‘Made in Bangladesh’.
