Job Opportunity We’re hiring: The Business Post is seeking an assistant news editor

The Business Post wishes to recruit an assistant news editor . Reporting to the head of news, the successful candidate will play a vital role in the sourcing, organising, editing and publishing of daily content on BusinessPost.ie.· Working on a shift rotation between the hours of 6am and 10pm and helping to drive the Business Post’s seven-day business news operation to ensure delivery of top-quality content.

· At least three years’ experience working in publishing/editing of an online / digital publication, news website or broadcaster. Experience in business journalism is an advantage.· Strong working knowledge of publishing tools, such as MS Office, InDesign and Digital Content Publishing Systems.· Deep experience with SEO, social media platforms and scheduling tools.· Good attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
