When the CEO uses phrases like that it suggests he either doesn’t understand or can’t defend his strategy. $kr needs new blood at the top and in the boardroom. A privately held Kroger I believe is in our future.
That’s pithy, high-level CEO talk.
The strategy the stores are using by putting everything we want in the rear,maybe needing a re-think? A gallon of milk,or a loaf bread requires a long hike....
Imo, the grocery chain that implements a well organized and safe delivery system - to the customer's door - will be the one taking the lead here.
