Equinix Inc., the world’s digital infrastructure company, announced its planned entry into the Philippines with the acquisition of three data centers from Total Information Management, a leading technology solutions provider.
By extending Platform Equinix to the Philippines, local businesses can expand globally across 71 markets while overseas companies can seize the digital opportunities presented in the country, Equinix said in a statement. The acquisition of the three data centers includes a recently-opened data center in Manila. These sites will provide capacity for Equinix to address the digital needs of local and overseas businesses in the Philippines.
