Despite the restriction of movement during Edo State governorship election, some traders converged at Ikpoba Hill Market in Benin on Saturday night for business. Many expressed hope for good sales despite late opening hours.

She said that, in spite of arriving at the market at about 6.39 p.m., she had made reasonable sales and was hopeful to sell all her goods before retiring home. “I didn’t come on time, but I know that I will finish my goods quickly because people are buying gradually since about an hour ago I came,” she said.
