MetroFibre as South Africa’s highest-rated large fibre network operator , according to a new study by the Internet Service Providers’ Association .publishes a ranking of consumer perceptions towards FNOs, as rated by the ISPs that use their infrastructure to provide internet services to end-user consumers. The latest ranking, published this week, shows there has been a slight improvement in the perception towards fibre ISPs since the last survey was conducted.
The August 2024 FNO perception survey saw 44 ISPs actively contributing to 321 ratings of 38 FNOs with eight operators being rated most often, namely Octotel, Liquid, Openserve, MetroFibre, Link Africa, Frogfoot, Dark Fibre Africa and Vumatel.
