Joseph Sullivan, also known as ‘Dough Boy’, started his journey during the coronavirus pandemic whilst working as a private chef. At the time, he was sent home without a job and with bundles of time, Joseph decided to take the leap into the world of pizza.
Selling them off, Joseph started an NHS fundraiser and dedicated a portion of his profits to support Britain’s healthcare heroes. Demand started to grow too and eventually, Joseph moved the operation to the local village hall before investing in a horsebox trailer. Now the business works from two pizza trailers and work at 150 weddings a year. They were even nominated for Caterer of the Year in the North West at the prestigious Wedding Industry Awards 2024.
