The Wits Business School, in collaboration with the Consulate General of India, is hosting an Energy Conference in Johannesburg.
The two-day conference has brought together industry leaders and academics from South Africa and India, to engage on shared and divergent energy challenges. Professor Maurice Radebe is the head of the Wits Business School, “Energy is our only currency right now and it’s so critical for economic development, particularly of the Global South. And that is why today is a gathering of two nations, India and South Africa. Energy leaders and energy experts and energy professionals and business leaders are gathering here at Wits to discuss this whole energy transition from high carbon economy to low carbon economy.
