Founder and owner Peter Bird began his career as a young graduate at Sir John Cass in London. He was eventually admitted into the Freedom of the Mystery of Goldsmiths of the City of London, and started out in Hatton Garden’s prestigious Jewellery Quarter. Councillor Ollie Vickers, Telford & Wrekin Council cabinet member for economy, added: “Bicycles & Tandems by Design is a shining example of how innovative businesses thrive in Telford.
