Sir Jim Ratcliffe completes his $300 million investment in Manchester United, taking his ownership stake to 28.8%. Despite the influx of capital, the funds will not be used for January transfer window spending. Ratcliffe will not have wanted to see all of his pledged investment swallowed up in losses, which it would have been had it all arrived in one tranche, instead the plan is to utilise it for infrastructure development that can add value to the club and what it doe
