A fire erupted at an outdoor holiday market in Bryant Park, sending flames and smoke high into the air. While no injuries were reported, at least four shops were destroyed. The fire also damaged the roof of a nearby ice skating rink. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.

The cause of the fire was not immediately clear. At least some of the impacted shops were serving food.
