President Cyril Ramaphosa made the decision to file supporting affidavits in the High Court in Pretoria relating to Public Enterprises MinisterThe affidavits seek to suspend the enforcement of remedial action against Gordhan as recommended by the Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane. The legal action arises from Mkhwebane’s investigation into a matter involving the establishment of a ‘rogue’ investigative unit at South African Revenue Service .
