DPM lauds local animated film industry

Ejen Ali the Movie has amassed RM30 million in tickets sales since its release six weeks ago. – January 11, 2020.

DEPUTY Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail today praised the local animated film industry, saying they are able to produce quality work comparable to that of countries abroad. “I’m proud to see our own animation talents shine so brightly now and take the local animated film industry to greater heights,” she said after attending a special screening of the computer-animated Ejen Ali the Movie with 50 persons with disabilities from Cheras’ Taman Sinar Harapan in Petaling Jaya today.
