The management stressed that such huge debt at the beginning of the year was not good for the growth of power distribution in Kano, Jigawa and Katsina States.
Reacting to the development, Dr Jamil Isyaku Gwamna, the Managing Director of KEDCO said: ”If we had mapped out plans to improve on our achievements last year to continue to give our customers the right and timely services in terms of power supply as well as responding to complaints, the least of encouragement we also demand, is for them to pay their bills”.
