Amid this backdrop, Wirth said Chevron is focused on capital discipline, and that the company has sized its operations to compete across a range of oil prices. "It's clear that demand for air traffic, marine freight in and out of china is off considerably," Wirth said, before noting that "it's still early to say how this will play out as the news about the virus continues to evolve."

he is right -- their fuel exhaust leads to asthma and COPD exacerbations in millions of people, and have single handedly worsened the climate crises as opposed to tobacco. it is insulting to say they are the same.
