Imperial shares fall after the company says it expects a 92% decrease in headline earnings per share

Imperial said total headline earnings per share , which include discontinued operations, was expected to be between 210c and 236c, a 92% to 93% decrease from 2,978c per share recorded in the previous matching period. Imperial's share price fell on the news and was 5.13% lower in late afternoon trade on Thursday at R49.54.
