Surreal photos show Frozen-like houses encased in ice on the shores of Lake Erie.

"I actually had to go out a secondary door and then chisel my way back into the house by breaking the ice," he said, estimating that ice coating his house was one to three feet thick.Resident Lise Kreuder told broadcast station WIVB that she hasn't seen ice conditions this extreme since the 70s.
