Bank of America said to 'avoid panic selling,' since stocks' best days usually follow the worst.

During times of high volatility, it can be tempting to get out of the market, but Bank of America said this can cost investors a lot over the long term.

"Negative headlines and panic selling are not good reasons to sell," Bank of America said in a recent note.

Perfect time to buy tho

There is literally no historical precedent for this. With no cure or treatment, no one should be encouraged to buy and forget.

It might rain or be sunny today.

crap !

You are as soft as CNBC if you are selling in this nonsense...

After every market decline, the market moves back up to where it was and then reaches new highs. That’s happened after every single decline. Why is this time any different Smart investors buy now. Only “day traders” etc get burned. Good luck.

Yesssss, wait for the rich to incrementally pull their funds out so a crash doesn’t happen and get left holding the bag! Lol

Keep selling so i can keep buying.

There is something on the market that is better to lose than find.

When you see this post, you know it’s time to sell

Let's stay float in the bubble. Market barely even flinched anyway.

Nonsense, for the simple reason that the coronavirus crisis is NOT a panic but an acknowledgement of an impending economic DISASTER. Playing COVID19 down isn't going to help.

Truer words were never said..

Kudlow indicators say bear market.

Miss the worst too! I'm fine with that. Sell BEFORE a panic (in a parabolic euphoria) and rebuy AFTER. That's a free 15% return right there!

Ya like the lost decade of 2000

Nonsense, for the simple reason that coronavirus situation is NOT a panic but an impending economic DISASTER.

Best way to loose. Your market is gonna tank so go ahead and tell your people stay home

If you sell at market -5% and then the market goes down to -15% and then you buy back and the end of and miss the best day up 7% you’re still about 4% better off having sold than hold.

I'm thinking the market will be way down about 2 years from now. Countries could go bust, not just companies. House price inflation should be taken account of when setting rates.

True, if our stock market forever goes up.

NASDAQ100 PANIC?

Scared money don’t make money

Just hold your positions....

When you sell in a panic you return the stocks back it’s rightful owner. 🙂

They all need counterparts.... Don't panic because you have to buy the shares I need to seel to get the F .. out of the coming mess

This will not age well. Better to sell at -10% than sell at -50%

“Keep the bubble inflated!”

Lets see what happens this week!
