While the federal government has made for all Americans, a test from a private lab may come at a steep cost. Dr. David Nazarian, a UCLA-trained concierge doctor who has tested patients for the virus, said that the coronavirus tests would cost "hundreds of dollars," in addition to his regular fee.
Still, the doctors fielding requests for the coronavirus tests from wealthy patients aren't immune to public concerns about the well-off receiving priority treatment. "[The labs] are overwhelmed," Dr. Sari Eitches, another Los Angeles-based concierge physician, told Business Insider. "That's where the ethics of this comes into play, because I do have a lot of patients who naturally want to be tested just to be sure.
Funny how some are tested positive but still not wearing masks around people, especially their partners 🤔🤔 coronavirus
I guess trump forgot the part of the story of life where pitchforks and guillotines featured prominently.
America has less infections and less deaths, both overall and per capita, from covid-19 than every other developed nation experiencing problems. Tell the truth in your story instead of creating more fear.
I think it’s fine that they get tested. Nobody wants them to go around so innocently touching people like the Utah Jazz guy. I do wonder though, why we still cannot get tested? Didn’t Chairmen Trump publicly announce that he was sending out millions of test kits everyday?
Why is anyone surprised?
