The defence minister says the people will still have to abide by certain regulations once the movement control order is lifted. FMTNews MCO Covid19 IsmailSabriYaakob

The country has effectively been shut down for the past three weeks under the movement control order to curb the spread of Covid-19.

“It has already been announced that large public gatherings are banned, even if the MCO ends,” he said. But there has been no word yet on whether the health ministry will extend the order, implemented on March 18, he said.“God willing, after receiving advice from the health ministry, the government will make a decision,” he said.
