Short sellers get payday. Immediately go long the stock. Feds end investigation without damaging charges, fines, etc. Stock rebounds. Insiders win. Buy island. This is terrible news. I can’t imagine a company would knowingly do this. Say what we want about Jetta and Diesel-Gate, but that never put customers in danger. Have any died because of this?
