Canada’s finance minister has announced his resignation amid reports of differences with prime minister Justin Trudeau over spending to protect the economy during the coronavirus pandemic and allegations of conflict of interest.
ooh look - an actual minister actually resigning. Couldn't happen here, obviously
PM Trudeau, has the full support of Canadians to manage the country's economy during a hard time of the Covid-19. Canada's rating is AAA by S&P through good financial management. A new finance minister will be chosen to replace Mr. Morneau great job for new opportunities.
There was no tension regarding budget spending. It was strictly over the scandal.
So does Trudeau, in fact he has the same one as Morneau, but somebody had to fall...again.
