U.S. stocks rose Monday, recovering some ground after four consecutive weeks of declines. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 485 points, or 1.8%, in morning trading. The S&P 500 rose 1.5%, while the technology-heavy Nasdaq Composite climbed 1.

Put another way - Stocks rose, and we literally have no clue why. The economy is a dumpster fire (unemployment at its highest in history, commercial real estate is in the tank, etc.), the west coast is literally on fire, and our country is about to explode with voilence.
