Southwest, Pfizer, BioNTech: What to Watch When the Stock Market Opens Today

S&P 500 futures are flatlining

Investors are cautiously cheering signs of a decisive victory for his opponent: that would reduce the risk of disputes over the election results, and potentially augur a fat stimulus package in the new year.Data due out at 8.30 a.m. ET is expected to show that the U.S. trade deficit widened in August.

Pfizer advanced 1.6% in premarket trading. The American pharmecutical giant and BioNTech said Tuesday that the European Medicines Agency will review data on the duo’s lead Covid-19 vaccine candidate on a rolling basis, as it becomes available from trials. That could speed review of the vaccine. BioNTech surged over 9%.
