Five men of the vigilantes’ group have been reportedly killed while scores were injured during an attack on a local market and some communities in the Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State on Monday morning.
He said, “This morning, the daredevils reared their ugly heads again as it is confirmed that, in their large numbers, they stormed quite a number of communities in Gurmana District of the same Shiroro local government and unleashed havoc on unsuspecting victims.“Kokki, Shekadna, Karibo, Jabuki, Sarkin Zama, Bakin Kogi , Maganda and other adjoining villages all in Gurmana District came under renewed simultaneous attacks this morning.
“Five members of local Vigilante Corps were said to have been gunned down during the fierce gun battle.
Who supplies them the weapon they use, and who offers them intelligent logistics? Until we answer these questions appropriately, we won't find the solution this heinous crime being committed these killers!
