A South Australian man has been charged after he allegedly placed fake QR codes over business COVID check-ins. 9News

He is accused of placing the false codes over real ones in South Plympton on Anzac Day, and was charged with two counts of obstructing operations carried out relative to COVID-19 under the Emergency Management Act.One of the shops Mr Davies allegedly targeted with fake QR codes.Mr Davies was also hit with a prohibited weapon charge after police allegedly found a double-sided knife in the man's home.

He appeared in court today and was granted bail on the condition he not visit any of the stores allegedly targeted and doesn't carry any fake QR codes.Police have warned that anybody found guilty of tampering with business QR codes could be fined up to $10,000.

Seriously like how ? The effort u put in getting the fake QR code is far more than Jux printing the real thin on gov website ..so why ?

This goes against the idea that you can't judge a book by its cover. He looks like a numpty...

Why? Why is he doing this to us? Can you please ask him his motive?

Probably get ten years prison while drunk drivers who kill people, women and child killers walk away with bail....then get a few months community service!!!!
