CLIA Managing Director Australasia Joel Katz said they have been in months of discussions, including a proposal to start domestic cruising only, but they have still not been given any firm updates. Cruises are starting to resume in other parts of the world, with ships testing people for the virus and introducing stringent new infection control methods. It’s just not worth the risk not knowing if upon return you are into quarantine. no doubt the cruise lines will have terrific sanitisation in place and have learned from their mistakes, but it’s too soon. Look at the damage a couple have caused in 3 States. Can’t stop idiots.
