An early morning fire has reportedly destroyed property worth millions of naira at Itobe Market in the Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
A local radio station monitored by our correspondent in Lokoja on Saturday disclosed this in its bulletin. The fire was said to have started when a trader’s generator caught fire thereby engulfing all the shops within the vicinity.The Onu Itobe, Alhaji Salihu Adaji, while reacting to the disaster lamented that the incident had thrown many businessmen in his domain to the labour market.
