And Frank Macchiarola, senior vice president of policy, economics and regulatory affairs for the American Petroleum Institute, said that numerous federal and state investigations going back a decade repeatedly have found that gas price hikes are due to the marketplace, not illegal behavior. “We wouldn’t be here if the oil companies were using it to make the American consumers’ price cheaper.” said Schumer, D-N.Ysuspending the federal gas tax
They act like this is gonna only hurt the oil companies when in reality all its gonna do is hurt the consumer. These people are batching crazy for proposing this when gas prices are already high

We all watched Biden signed a huge stack of executive orders on live TV on day 1 of his presidency. 🤡 Those executive orders directly caused the gas price crisis by banning drilling permits & pipelines. 🤡 The American people are not stupid.
