With the weak laws and weak prosecutors non-lethal is not the way to go. Crime is skyrocketing and the people that are elected refuse to do anything about it. New York City is a prime example. Criminals don’t follow the law and western society is a joke.

This is sweet. But if anybody is invading your home you need to send them to meet The Lord before they go do it to somebody else's house and the results are not as clean. We continue to enable criminals in this state and the crime against the citizenry gets worse & worse.
Perhaps this thinking doesn’t go far enough: maybe one should always have a homemade lasagna on hand, in case an intruder is hungry. Also, make sure to ask for their pronouns before they tie you up.
