Ring Stones has been touring schools to showcase the building industry to children

A major East Lancashire business has been touring schools in a bid to encourage the next generation of builders.

It will provide 90 apartments for residents aged over 55 providing extra support for those when need it. Children from Casterton Avenue Primary School in the town were given a talk on the safety aspects of big developments like Dovestone Gardens and the types of machinery used onsite, including the biggest crane Ring Stones have installed.Students from reception to Year 6 were also given the chance to win prizes as part of a drawing competition.

Calico Homes are engaging the community in how the scheme will work and the kind of support that is on offer. The community consultations give customers the opportunity to have their say on the development.
